Every year on 15 August, the village of Lesches-en-Diois puts on a big festival to celebrate the lavender harvest, the day culminating with a spectacular 14-minute firewrk display high above the already high (1050m) village. Hundreds of cars snake their way up the tortuous road to get there, then snake their way down afterwards.
And last night I discovered that my Sony HX50 has a specoal firework setting, so here are a few snaps.
As I’ve said to other people, at this display, if you’re not sure if the display has finished, it hasn’t. They always end with the sky alight. And they did last night.
